Welcome to my portfolio!

My name is PAULINA OLEA VERGARA

This is the my Final Practicum portfolio

During this process my guide teacher was Fabrizzio Araya

My dear class is 7th grade "B" from Nueva Era siglo XXI school located in Curauma

Introduction

This is the portafolio of my Final Practicum as a prospective teacher. This is the final step of my career and the most important and valuable experience in the educational field I have ever had before.

In this portafolio you will find all the work I have done throughout this process. Since september I have been part of Siglo XXI school, and it has been such a good experience, because it has made me grow as a professional, I have done things that I have never done before (as been the hostess of the teachers day celebration), I have had the experience of giving classes to 27 children that have been so nice with me and had given me the opportunity of being their teacher. And also had the opportunity to have a grear guide teacher that gave me the wise guidance to let me discover by myself this process of teaching, always offering the counseling and advises I needed, but not telling me what to do, or how to do things.
In this final practicum I feel myself as a sponge, paying attention to many details, absorving any source of learning and also trying to apply new strategies to fit my students learning styles.
The main objective of my portafolio is to let you know the process I have gone through the 4 months I have been in the school doing my practicum. As well as the work I have done there and, if it can be possible, to transmit the fun time I had giving classes to my students.

These cards were used to develop an activity to use present continuous.
Every student had a card and had to act out in front of the class the action of the verb, the rest of the class had to guess about the action of the classmate using present continuous.

The following cards were used to teach my students some words related to the unit about taking care of the environment.

these cards were used to teach my students must and mustn't . The set of cards that you saw before were used along with this ones to see what we must do to our planet, and what we must not.

The following set of cards (3) were used to teach present continuous grammar structure.

I created this dice to make my students practice present continuous. It is made of foam, a great material to work with.

The following set of cards are some collocations learnt by my students related to the topic of environment.

They also learnt a song that I created ( with a hip-hop rhythm) to make it easier to remember the collocations.
